Synplant on Linux

Studio One is now on Linux, Focusrite supports driver development, Bitwig is there. Any chance we can see this plugin native on Linux? Or is there an official way to run this somehow different?

Take a look at yabridge, which allows to use Windows VST, VST3, and CLAP plugins in Linux. I've been running all Sonic Charge plugins for about a year now without any issues.

I've also run a number of other plugins from other companies and so far it has been mostly successful. I have encountered a few plugins that I wasn't able to run completely nor at all. Therefore it is not a perfect solution, but it is the best one I've found.

Just tried to install yabridge, but it requires wine and wine just doesn't work for me. And not just for me if I look at the review section.

I'm trying to get Yabridge running with Sonic Charge on Steam OS, for use with Bitwig, will update if successful.

Motu is also actively supporting Linux as well with an unofficial cuemix and releasing their info about their avb api. The plugs work with yabridge, however, I am not able to register my beloved microtonic.

I've been using Sonic Charge plugins with yabridge for months now with no issues. But, if possible, native Linux builds are always appreciated!

Your aren't on Linux Arch or Manjaro by any chance and can tell me, how you did it? I tried REAPER and Carla Plugin Host with the yabridge "converted" Synplant VST3. It freezes REAPER on loading. It can load into Carla, but as soon as I open the GUI, it freezes. I assume it might be something Wayland related or so. I am on Manjaro Linux.

So far I tried many things; tweaked some Wine settings, downgraded to older wine-staging versions. Still freezing, unfortunately.

Well. It seems like the GUI of the VST3 version does not work, but the VST2 version does.

I'm using SynPlant 2 on Linux Mint through YaBridge. Everything is working as expected. But i'm waiting for official Linux plugin too, cause it will increase the perfomance of calculation is about 50 to 100% (due to YaBridge overhead)

I got the VST3 version running on CachyOS (Arch) with yabridge. I have wine version 9.21 installed. All newer versions, at least the ones I tried, are not working.
I recommend using the "downgrade" command, available by default in Manjaro or can be installed from the repo on CachyOS. It makes it easy to install the correct version AND to lock it, so automatic updates are turned off.
There are probably more elegant solutions with different wine prefixes and stuff, but it's simple and works, at least for me. :) As long as you don't need wine for other programs (gaming, etc...) this should be fine.
    Hope that helps.
