Is Microtonic known to be somewhat hard to use with drum pads? i invested quite some hours last night to map it to Traktor D2 cause it's got rather nice pads and then resorted to Akai Fire (not so nice pads) and both attempts led nowhere because no matter what I tried, Microtonic was reporting "no MIDI controllers". and i tried every trick in the book and then some.

the catch is, Microtonic, here, runs in FL Studio. i think that's why all the issues. i kinda assume it would be mappable if i was using the standalone app but alas, i am not.

can anyone share some success story? i would love to use Microtonic tonight, im helping out a friend who's playing a techno live set and feeling unsure about the drums basically, so this is where i come in but if i cant make it work ill have to use FPC.
